iBridge Data Processing Centers Provide Economic Security to Women and Children At Risk
The global statistics of physical, mental, and financial abuse against women and children are shocking. The numbers are no better in the United States. The problems morph from one country to the next.
iBridge has made a social commitment to provide economic security to women and children at risk by setting up two data processing centers in an economically disadvantaged zone in India. We provide flexible working hours, meals, a living wage and every tool, along with training to those who wish to participate to escape poverty or abusive relationships. So far, we are seeing an exceptional return on our investment. Productivity is sky-high, turnover is negligible, and we believe the impact we are making will pay us ten-fold in the long run.
As a company, we will monitor and grow these facilities. We will fund them as part of our strategic infrastructure investment. As time goes by, we will communicate back to you on this page on our progress. We believe businesses are uniquely positioned to create positive change, not just one life at a time, but for entire communities through our investments. This is not charitable giving. It is investing in our own business while helping those at the greatest risk. In our case, it is paying us well.
With the onset of global climate change, in addition to our current economic downturn, the abuse and neglect has only become worse. In the future, as entire populations migrate to find shelter, it is estimated the hardship on women and children will only increase. We do not intend to stand by and allow this tragedy to go unchecked. In our own small way, we are working to bring about change.
